I was lucky enough to get the Biz bonus when I took my son to a Yo! Gabba! Gabba! show. He did is thing with DJ Lance Rock and at the end of the show sang you got what I need. Jawn was dope! Well said awesome words /tribute . Just a fan mixing beats and trying to do my own thing. I was at that Beastie Boys concert at MSG where biz sang Benny and the Jets. Didn’t realize he didn’t do it on the whole tour.

Musicians can be strange. We were at the studio for Hello Nasty and the Biz [Markie] was supposed to come to the studio. He calls to say, “I’m downstairs, I’ll be right up.” We didn’t hear from him for another year. In 1998 when my ex and I broke up, part of it was because she kept seeing the dude that grew up near her and she always said he was just a friend. We broke up n she married that mfr. Anyways, I thought of the Biz a lot when I began writing rhymes again. had the pleasure of seeing Biz do a DJ set at the Roots Picnic 2014 in Philly. Was a really good time and just so great to be in his presence.
